In the late 1940’s, he settled in Canada, married and finally retired in Penetanguishene. Ticker joined the local Alzheimer’s Association, attending regular meetings and acting as an advisor for the Association. His other favoured organizations included the Salvation Army, Red Cross, Penetanguishene Public library and Severn Sound Environmental Association. All will benefit from Ticker’s annual donations.
