Donor Options

Choice of Endowment Funds

Donors may create or contribute to any of the following Endowment Funds.

General Community Fund A donation to this fund gives the Foundation the greatest flexibility. The fund's earnings respond to a full range of current community needs through Huronia qualified organizations.

Field of Interest Funds Donors identify an area of interest that they would like their fund to support. Examples include the arts, environment, health, education, seniors, children, recreation, or relief of poverty.

Designated Fund Donors specify at the time the fund is established, which particular charity or charities they would like to support in perpetuity.

Donor-Advised Fund The donor, donor's family, or designates recommend annually to the Board of Directors which Huronia charitable organizations should receive the grant(s).

Administrative Fund A donor may choose to direct their support to the foundation’s operating costs.

Any of the above Endowment Funds can be created or supported through an "In Memoriam" gift which keeps alive the memory of a friend, relative or family member.

Donate Online:

You can make a Credit Card donation online through the Canada Helps website. They provide a safe, secure environment for donors to make a contribution

$Donate Now Through CanadaHelps.org!\$ Click on the Donate Now button and you will then be asked to specify name of the fund to which it should be directed and, for memorial gifts, the name the individual in whose memory the gift is made.

If you would like to send a cheque or send a credit donation by mail, click here to download our Donor Form, Then just put it in the mail and we will send you a tax receipt!
